Haven't posted in a few days as been busy, with boring things like my course and appointments.

Not much to report really, Did some painting today as I only have 2 days to get my entry finished so that should hopefully be done by this time tomorrow.

Have booked Saffron in for home care at xmas so my son and I are able to spend the holiday with my fella and his family. Be nice to see them, it's been ages!

Other than that I have an ink session booked for Monday ... Can't wait :-D *Excited*
Really looking forward to having this artwork finished off.

Ow, I bought my son a small WHFB Dwarf army, He's quite excited about getting his own army and getting to game but he told me he wants some elves instead ... lol
Told him he could ally cuz I'm not buying him a whole new army. Ha!

Anywho, it's been fun but I'm off :-)

     Woke up with the king of all headaches this morning ... That wasn't fun!
Anyway, Went to see 'Turbo' with my boy, he loved it.
It's a definite 'Must See' for all the kids.
(Though thankfully I just have the one).


 Got in, had some dinner/lunch then got cracking with some painting.
I have managed to Completely finish one of the online competition entries and I started work on the other. I have even got the Seraphim out and did a bit of work to those whilst I was waiting for the wash to dry.

 Have to say, I am not all that pleased with Citidel's 145 range compared to the old stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they have more of a range; that of course can only be good, but it's been like a year? now and I STILL don't like them!

The Nuln oil, Yes it's lovely, but in my experience it dries with a shine ...
Am I using it wrong? ...
Is there more than one way to apply paint/Washes? o_O (And for you smart Alecses out there i don't want such answers as 'Yes, use an airbrush' lol - That's not what I mean!)
Maybe I should switch over to Vallejo paints, or Reaper.
What do you  guys think? Do you have a preference? Are there certain companies I should steer clear from? What is your opinion on paints? :)

Anywho, enough of my ponders; time to get the boy ready for bed then to see if there's owt good on the telly.

   Had a good ol' chat with Alec this morning and will be getting a small WHFB army for my lad. Was thinking a 600 or 700 points. Just so he can join in. It's all pre painted which is good cuz then my wallpaper won't get splattered, ha!

He will obviously get it for Christmas - I know I set a limit this year of £100 but oh well!
I got his DSi XL today (Was a pay weekly kinda deal, I'm not rich! haha) and I also got him an animatronic (is that the right word?) Anyway, A moving Pikachu; it's cheeks light up as it says various Pikachu phrases and the mouth and ears move ... He'll LOVE it! :-D

    As most of you will know, today was a 'Teacher Strike' day which meant I got to stay at home instead of going to my IT course - I guess it's not all bad though, I'm finding 'PowerPoint' quite boring!

However, I did think that maybe I might get some painting done ...
No such luck!

 Had a ton of house work to do and a butt ton of washing after my son decided he would bring me a weeks worth of under wear ... Where the heck does he stash it? o_O

Finally had some time after tea (Or dinner ... Depending where you're from) but decided I would have a wonderfully relaxing bath so no hobby for me today :(



     Meeting up with my friend tomorrow (http://www.youtube.com/user/dunk1978banker) to talk life, hobby and treats which will be nice - Might even have an almond slice (yum)

I am hoping to get some painting done tomorrow, even if it is just a little - I have 2 on-line competition entries that need finishing as well as a 10 (Wo)man squad of Seraphim ... They were originally my Golden Demon entry but as I didn't finish them in time I used my Repentia instead :-D

Anywho, Time for bed now.
